MINIMELDER – R
A minimum level detector. It is intended for acoustic and visual signalling of the minimum level in the tank.
Minimelder is equipped with one potential-free output for additional output of the alarm status signal to an external device.
It monitors a liquid level decrease. After reaching the alarm trigger point, the red LED light up continuously and an acoustic signal sounds.
MAXIMELDER – R
A maximum level detector. It is intended for acoustic and visual signalling of the maximum level in the tank.
Maximelder is equipped with one potential-free output for additional output of the alarm status signal to an external device.
Maximelder-R monitors a liquid level increase. After reaching the alarm trigger point, the red LED light up continuously and an acoustic signal sounds.
The least expensive and uncomplicated measuring device available.
It is used in the following locations:
- petrol stations,
- boiler houses,
- small warehouses of petroleum products,
- and wherever a liquid level in a tank has to be monitored:
◦ water,
◦ EL, L or M grade heating oil,
◦ oil and water mixes,

Technical information
The product comprises a detector and float probe. The type designation on the front side of the detector indicates whether the product monitors a minimum or maximum filling level.
- Minimelder-R monitors the minimum tank filling level.
- Maximelder-R monitors the maximum tank filling level.
After reaching the relevant filling level, the product triggers an optical and acoustic alarm. The output relay allows an alarm signal to be output to additional devices.
Detector
The detector housing made of plastics and impact resistant contains indicators and control elements, and all electronic units necessary to analyse and convert the switch signal to the output signal. The output signal is available in the form of a potential-free relay contact (changeover contact).
Float probe
The float probe detects the minimum or maximum tank filling level.
The magnet located inside the probe float is intended to switch the contact. A liquid level increase or decrease causes a proper motion of the float switch which in turn leads to the initiation of switching operations.
The float switch should be fixed at the desirable switching level in a hanging position. The float probe is connected to the detector with a two-wire probe cable.
