Tanks for LPG storage in underground, partially buried and above-ground versions are manufactured with their volume ranging from 9.1 m3 to 250 m3. LPG tanks are made of carbon steel. They comply to all the valid safety requirements on the storage of propane, butane and mixtures of these gases. They are certified by the notified body in the range of pressure equipment and systems subject to Directive 2014/68/EU based on the EN13445 or AD2000 standard.
LPG tanks are designed to store products:
- for heating purposes, at domestic and industrial units and installations;
- at petrol stations for LPG refuelling facilities;
- at LPG depots and customs warehouses.
As a standard, LPG tanks intended for petrol stations are equipped with cut-off, measuring and safety fittings. Optionally, they are equipped with on-tank sumps, reception systems called LPG modules (LPG refuelling facilities at petrol stations) as well as control and measurement fittings such as magnetostrictive and radar probes, or Rochester Senior / Rochester Magnetel level gauges.
